Cal got to meet one of the ‘big fellas’ Eddie Hall out on track 😂😂, then a cheeky bump start got him back in the race 😎

Fair to say that yesterday was a tad damp 🥴…. Thank you to everyone who turned up to support the boys and help with the cars… 🙏🏻. Neither car ran right, with Ieuan’s clutch giving up after giving his brother a push / bump start in their heat… and the 1600 Cal was using deciding that compression is over rated on all 4 cylinders 🫣. Still young gun managed to qualify for the main race, unfortunately the Mendips fog stopped play before that could be run… another season over up in the hills, and boy was it a wet 🌧️ one…

We have the privilege of being joined by two of the strongest guys in the world. Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw will be taking on the Mendips oval THIS Saturday in the Banger West of England Championship!

Eddie Hall (The Beast), the British strongman, won the World’s Strongest Man title in 2017 and made history by deadlifting an incredible 500kg!

Brian Shaw is a strongman legend, standing 6ft 8in tall and a FOUR-TIME World’s Strongest Man champion! One of the most successful strongmen ever!

Now they are heading to Mendips for the full-throttle madness of banger racing.
Get your mates together, spread the word and get ready for an unforgettable evening with fireworks to round off the night.

Been a good Day all round for Cal… top 10 finish in the 2 heats (8th & 7th we think). Drove a blinder in the final and pulled a 5th… points on the board is what we like… 💪🏻
