Tough going for this weekends Bull Huss competition.
Strong easterlies made fishing quite difficult.
A great turnout, and well done to everyone who got out and had a go 🎣

Best fish went to Owen Thomas with a boat caught Huss of 13-3-0 119.89%

Second place went to the one and only Jason Upham with a fish of 9-10-0.

As predicted, a much slower month for March, typically the case every year! Well done to those who did manage to get out and wangle out a fish!

🎣 Brixham SAC February 2026 Round-up🎣

Surprisingly, a rather steady February month, with some winter fatty whiting hanging around sheltering from the storms, providing some rather fruitful sessions for the boys!

23 fish have been entered this month, 17 of which are Angling Trust specimens.

Notable sessions go to Jason Upham who landed 4 whiting of 2lb or above in 1 session, and Ian Bryce who landed a beauty of a whiting weighing in at 2-12-8, which is a new Brixham SAC Club record!
