Throwback to one of our Sunrise paddle socials we hosted this summer!
Was it worth the 5am alarm? Absolutely! 😍
We shall be hosting more sunrise/sunset paddle socials throughout the autumn (Weather dependent!) as well as our Hawaiian party paddle social to still look forward to!

🌴 END OF SUMMER PARTY PADDLE — POSTPONED 🌊❌

Unfortunately, the weather isn’t playing ball this weekend! 🌧️🌬️

The South Westerly wind is forecast to stay strong throughout Saturday, blowing offshore and creating conditions that just aren’t suitable for a safe and enjoyable paddle. It’s also looking like it’s going to be a pretty wet day! 🌧️

As much as we’d love to go ahead — especially with it being Bank Holiday weekend — safety has to come first, so we’ve made the decision to postpone Saturday’s End of Summer Party Paddle. ❤️

BUT… WE’RE NOT CANCELLING! 🙌🎉

We’ll be finding a new date with better conditions so we can actually enjoy the Hawaiian theme, paddle to Fishcombe Cove, grab some food & drinks and have a proper evening on the water! 🌺🛶🌊

🌺🌊 We’re excited to announce our END OF SUMMER PARTY PADDLE SOCIAL! 🌊🌺

Join us on Saturday 29th August for a Hawaiian-themed paddle over to Fishcombe Cove — with great people, good vibes, music, food, drinks and plenty of summer fun! 🤙🌴

Bring your best Hawaiian shirt, swim costume or tropical outfit! 🌴😂

📍 6:00pm — Meet at Oxen Cove Car Park / Slipway
🚣 6:15pm — Launch & paddle to Fishcombe Cove

💙 SUPPORTING THE COVE DISCOVERY PROJECT
We’ll be raising money and awareness for The Cove - Discovery Project, helping support the protection of our much-loved local coastline.
💰 Suggested £2pp donation — every little bit helps! 🙌

🎶 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A DJ / BAND!
We’re actively looking for a DJ or band who’d be happy to support the event and help create an amazing atmosphere at Fishcombe Cove. If you’re interested, please get in touch! 🎧🎸

🛶 Bringing your own board or kayak? Perfect!
Need equipment? Coastal Kayak Co. will have kayaks & paddleboards available to hire, with a percentage of every hire going towards the cause.

If you saw our story earlier, you might have seen that a rather exciting parcel arrived… 👀📦

Well… the van signs are HERE! 🚐💙

I couldn’t be happier ☺️ It’s such a good feeling seeing Coastal Kayak Co. properly out on the road and watching the brand continue to grow!

I’ve had so much support along this journey and have so much gratitude to everyone who’s supported me — from following and sharing the socials, booking rentals, recommending us to friends, and simply helping get the word out. It genuinely means so much. 💙

Start the evening with a FREE 30-minute Tai Chi warm up led by Wendy Henry, helping you relax, stretch and prepare for a peaceful paddle.

Never tried Tai Chi before? No problem! This session is designed for complete beginners, so everyone is welcome. Wendy will guide you through slow, gentle movements that improve balance, mobility and relaxation. It’s the perfect way to ease into the evening before paddling out to watch the eclipse.
Can’t make Tai Chi? Also No problem! Meet us at Oxen cove slipway at 17:45.
