🖤💚Thank You, Percy
As the season has come to a close, Bridgnorth Rugby Club Mini & Juniors would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to *Ian “Percy” Arch, who has now come to the end of his incredible nine-year tenure, volunteering his time in the running of Percy’s Pantry at Swancote Energy Park.
Over the past nine years, Percy has built, developed and operated something very special for our Mini & Junior section. Percy’s Pantry has become far more than somewhere to grab a bacon sandwich or a hot drink on a Sunday morning. It has become a real focal point of our rugby community.
Week after week, in all weather, Percy has been there feeding and looking after hundreds of children, parents, coaches, referees, volunteers and visiting teams. His time, energy, commitment and care have helped create the warm Sunday morning atmosphere that so many of our families have enjoyed over the years.
At Bridgnorth Rugby Club, we are incredibly fortunate to have so many brilliant volunteers who give their time to make the club what it is. But every now and again, someone comes along who goes above and beyond in a truly exceptional way. Percy is undoubtedly one of those people.
On behalf of everyone across the Mini & Juniors, thank you, Percy, for everything you have given to the club, to Swancote and to generations of young players and families.
You have set a standard that will be very hard to follow, and Percy’s Pantry will always carry your name with pride.
💚🖤Thank you, Percy.
