This year, through our Bridgnorth Walk donations we supported Severn Hospice who provide fantastic care for so many people and their families.

Each year Bridgnorth Cricket Club and Hockey Club choose a local charity to support and this year they chose us - how great is that!

To support our care they completed the Bridgnorth Walk and raised £1,200.

Thanks to everyone for their generosity and kindness, it means the absolute world to us.

Two of our L1s players are travelling down to London on Friday for the Area Championships at the weekend. Louise Glover and Mel Gregory were selected to represent the Midlands O35s and will play against the other 7 areas over the two days.

We are again entering a team in the Bridgnorth Walk, and this year we are raising money for both the Club and a charity close to many of our members and their families - Severn Hospice

We know that Severn Hospice has helped many of our members and their friends and family over the years. Recently they looked after Mel's Dad who was heavily involved with walking, sport and the countryside - so the Bridgnorth Walk is a fitting way to raise some money for the hospice. We wanted to help raise some money to help them to continue to provide their compassionate and supportive care to individuals and their families.

We would love to get as many as possible involved in the walk - this could be the senior walk, Junior walk or family walk. Follow the link below to sign up and let us know so we can add you to the twam group.

On Sunday our U8s, U10s and U12s took part in a Junior tournament organised by Newport Hockey Club and hosted by Wrekin College.

The youngest group of Juniors, the U8s, are pictured after their first games together this season with plenty of new faces having joined over the last year.

All 3 of our teams performed well and got to enjoy lots of games. It was a fantastic end to the season for most of these players...but its isn't quite over there..

We still have the U12 girls representing the club in the Midlands finals in Nottingham on Saturday - good luck girls!

A reminder that this weekend is our Club Day and AGM - junior and senior games on the grass before the AGM at 4pm.

There will be food available for both Junior 🌭and Senior🌶🍛 players following their games.
