Ever wonder why some weeks you feel unstoppable in the gym and others you’re dragging yourself through a workout?

Your hormones play a huge role in your energy, strength, recovery, mood and even the number on the scales.

💗 In the days leading up to your period, you may notice:
• Increased bloating
• Water retention
• Lower energy levels
• Increased cravings

💗 During your period:
• Energy may be lower
• Recovery may take longer
• Gentle movement can feel better than intense training

💗 Throughout your cycle:
• Mood changes are normal
• Bloating is normal
• Fluctuations in weight are normal

The key is learning to work WITH your body, not against it.

Remember: consistency beats perfection. Some days your best looks like lifting heavy, other days it’s a walk and an early night. Both count. 🤍

A lot of people believe having diabetes means you can’t exercise properly… but that’s actually a myth 🤍

Exercise is often encouraged because it can help:
✨ Improve blood sugar control
✨ Increase insulin sensitivity
✨ Boost energy levels
✨ Support heart health
✨ Improve mood & confidence

Movement doesn’t have to be extreme to make a difference. Walking, strength training, stretching and simply being more active day to day can all support your health.

As a paramedic alongside my coaching, I’ve seen first hand how important lifestyle, movement and long term health habits really are. My goal is to help women build confidence, improve their health and create sustainable routines that actually fit into everyday life 🤍
