We are pleased to announce that Ashford RFC will be hosting a suite of Saracens rugby skills camps over the Easter break.

These are now available to book as one or two day events for Minis (mixed), Junior Boys (in school years 6 to 9), and Junior Girls (in school years 6 to 11). Each day will run from 9:45 to 15:00, with a different area of focus. Click on the booking links for the camp itinerary:

What a game at Kinney’s Field today! 🏉

Ashford 1st XV welcomed Sevenoaks 2nd XV in a fiercely contested match. Trailing by 21 points at half time, the boys dug deep and produced an incredible second-half comeback to secure a 26–21 victory! 💪

A massive performance from the whole squad — resilience, belief, and determination on full display.

Special shoutout to the coaching team for their guidance, and to the supporters who turned up in numbers and brought the Ashford noise all the way to the final whistle 🔊

Ashford welcome 2nd place Sevenoaks 2nd XV this Saturday for what promises to be a tough contest. With the ground finally dry, the conditions are set for some fast, open rugby — and maybe slightly cleaner kits for once!

Welcome to the latest edition of Toucan Times, where we celebrate another action-packed period across Ashford RFC. As we move through the early months of 2026, the club continues to show remarkable energy both on and off the pitch. From the impressive progress of our boys’ section and the continued growth of the girls’ game, to exciting developments around facilities and community events, there is a real sense of momentum building at Kinney’s Field. This issue highlights the dedication of players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who make Ashford RFC such a vibrant rugby community, while also looking ahead to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for the club.

Ashford Aracaris celebrated International Women’s Day with a display of crunching tackles, grit, determination and of course plenty of smiles with a 24-15 win.

Forward of the match - Elz
In true Captain style, Elz lead from the front, making huge hits, powerful runs and kept heads high with her never say die attitude. She was everywhere on the pitch today, never giving the opposition an inch. Brilliant all round performance from captain fantastic.

Back of the match - Ellie
The youngest on the team, at just 17, Ellie showed amazing maturity today. She controlled the game amazingly at 10, keeping a cool head even when things got tense. Ellie created opportunities everywhere and even got over the line herself. Ellie also found herself in many rucks and never shied away from the contact, try saving tackles and epic runs! An immense game for Ellie!

Big shout outs to all the forwards, the pack really stepped up today in a very physical game. Dominating scrums and breaking the line with every run.

Well done Ruby on your first try for the ladies! Brilliant game at 15!
Another fist try for Amelie, great game at 7 and working hard in the lineout.

Finally, Chelsea for her 1.5 tries!

And of course Happy Birthday Lucy! What a place to spend your day!
