It is with great sadness that Ashford Rugby Club reports the passing of David Wing, who sadly passed away on Friday 4th September.

David was a much-loved and highly respected member of the club for many years. As both a player and an inspirational Chairman, as well as a committed member of the committee, he was instrumental in many of the changes and improvements made to the club over the years. He always had the club’s best interests at heart and was a true club man.

He will be sorely missed, and our sincere condolences go to his wife Lynn, his daughter Davina and all of his family.

We will continue to update as arrangements become known.

🏉 Girls Rugby Masterclass with Grace Compton! 💙

We’re delighted to welcome Grace Compton to Ashford RFC on Sunday 13th September, from 12:00–14:00, for two hours of masterclass sessions with our Girls section.

Grace currently plays for Harlequins Ladies and has also represented the United Kingdom in Rugby Sevens, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the session.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our girls to learn from an accomplished player, develop their skills and enjoy two hours of high-quality rugby coaching. 🙌🏉
