Stars of the Game ✨

After a great game with Swale Women, here are our some players to celebrate from the game 🫶🏼

❤️Ashford Player of the Match- Chelsea Pearce!Chelsea- not only did she get 3 tries but her line speed, tackling and ability to be every where on the pitch was out matched. Chelsea proved that summer was no off season and from the kick off was a force to be reckoned with. We are just glad she’s on our team

🖤Forward of the Match- Claire Elks. Great all round forward who secured the ball in open play, as well as clearing up the lost balls in the lineout. A solid memeber of the pack, making strong runs and a solid defence in open play.

💛Back of the Match- Lucy Ansell. Throughout the game Lucy had safe hands on the wing, added speed and dynamics to the back line. Always on the hunt for the ball, she cut some fantastic lines through the opposition and held her own in defence.

✨Debut- Gemma Johnston! Gemma is new this season, she came on and proved she has amazing potential in the forwards. Strong carries and great scrummaging shows this player has a lot to offer.

🏉 Girls Rugby Masterclass with Grace Compton! 💙

We’re delighted to welcome Grace Compton to Ashford RFC on Sunday 13th September, from 12:00–14:00, for two hours of masterclass sessions with our Girls section.

Grace currently plays for Harlequins Ladies and has also represented the United Kingdom in Rugby Sevens, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the session.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our girls to learn from an accomplished player, develop their skills and enjoy two hours of high-quality rugby coaching. 🙌🏉
