Hello all, the weather is not great today but we will still be going tea and cake at 4pm. Why not come down enjoy some cake and watch the rugby. We have chocolate muffins, cinnamon rolls and Almond cake baked by Stephane and fresh cream Victoria sponge made by Sally-Ann.

Our club tournament finals day 2024 on Saturday provided an exciting day of tennis action. 5 open finals and 2 plate events took place in front of numerous spectators in perfect playing condition.

Today at 4pm there will be the classic lemon drizzle cake, Raspberry bakewell cake and another cake along with tea, coffee or herbal tea. A slice of cake and a drink is normally £1, I would ask you to put a bit more in as all the money raised will go to Princess Alice Hospice. Bring your family and friends along.

The World Cup tennis tournament, our annual team event, took place at the weekend in warm bright conditions. While Alcaraz was cruising to victory at Wimbledon, our four teams of six battled it out over four rounds of competitive doubles tennis. The Rest of the World team were ahead right up to the final round when Europe pipped them at the post with a maximum 18 points from their three matches....

Our Handicap Doubles Tournament, organised and managed by Corni, started back in January with a round-robin league followed by semi-finals. The event culminated at the weekend with two finals matches taking place. First up was the Ladies Doubles match which was a battle of the Mothers & Daughters. Sheila and Dani Sen came out on top beating Katarina and Hannah Bunce 6-1, 6-4....
