Pre Season Friendlies locked in.

We start with a tough test against Ards Reserves before moving on to Riverdale who are fresh from promotion to BSML Division 2.

Our penultimate friendly will be against beaten Junior Cup finalists Rosario IIs before we finish with Junior Shield winners Greencastle Rovers who of course beat us in the final.

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Jason Johnston ahead of the 26/27 season.

Jason joins us from Lisburn Rangers and comes with a wealth of Intermediate experience as well as BSML experience.

We trust that Jason will be a huge asset to us in the season ahead and we look forward to him making a long awaited competitive debut.

Last night we held our annual awards dinner for the 25/26 season @ Galgorm Resort and were treated to first class hospitality.

We would like to thank everyone who attended on the night on what was a brilliant evening of reflection and celebration. We were delighted to have Kinecx Energy Ballymena Saturday Morning League league secretary Brian Montgomery and his wife Heather and thank Brian for his kind words as always.

The evening began with a small presentation to Brian Ward & Lorraine Ward as a token of our thanks for their continued efforts manning the tea and coffee stall every matchday raising funds for the club in the process.

Before we recap on our awards dinner in full, we would like to offer our sincere thanks to Linda Mairs and husband Willis for their donation of a new Perptual trophy which will be known as the David Gilchrist Memorial Clough Rangers F.C. Committee Player of the Year. The trophy is stunning and will ensure that the Big Pickle's legacy and affinity with our club will be a lasting one.

David's brother James and sister Slyvia have also made significant financial donations to the club in recents weeks in memory of their legendary brother and again we want to show our gratitude to the wider Gilchrist family for this.

Pictured is James "Blocker" Gilchrist presenting the trophy to our goalkeeper Corey McVicker who is a very fitting winner after a tremendous season. As good as Corey has been he would still have had bother stopping big Pickle hitting the onion bag!

The club had a fantastic night at Tullyglass Hotel where we were presented with the Ace Cup.

On individual awards Matthew Lorimer was the leagues player of the season. What a fantastic award to receive and fully deserved. The football club is extremely proud and pictured is Murt's grandad, John Anderson lifting the trophy on his behalf 🏆💙
