🚨 PRE-SEASON 2026 🚨

Pre-season training will take place at Allen Park in Antrim, as we prepare for the new Ballymena Saturday Morning League Division 3 season. ⏳

We are currently averaging 16–20+ players per session, which is something we are very proud of as a club. 📈

Our usual schedule will then resume from Wednesday 29th July, at our home hub of Kells MUGA, with training every Monday & Wednesday from 8pm–9:30pm. ⚽️

If you are interested in coming down to see what the craic is, please get in touch with a member of the club. 🗣️

As the 2025/26 season comes to an end, it’s time to reflect on another massive year for Twin Village Football Club. 🩵

This season had a bit of everything. Brilliant performances, frustrating results, new signings settling in, injuries, setbacks and big moments that showed exactly what this team is capable of. ✅

While we ultimately fell short of where we wanted to finish, there’s no doubt the club continued to move forward both on and off the pitch. 📈

Training standards improved, the squad depth improved and the togetherness around the club grew stronger week by week. 💪🏼

Some of our performances this season showed the quality within this group, including our final game against Toome FC, where the lads reminded everyone exactly what the Village are about. 😎

A massive thank you to every player who pulled on the shirt this season, every supporter who came down to matches, our coaches and volunteers, and all of our sponsors who backed the club throughout the year. Without that support, none of this is possible. 🫡

This club is still young and still growing, but the foundations are there for something special. 🔥

The season may be over, but work for next season has already started behind the scenes 👀

Enjoy the break lads and we’ll see you all again soon. 🤝🏼

We played Riverdale FC yesterday in our final Saturday morning fixture of the season.

We started well and created a few good chances early on but couldn’t convert.

Riverdale then capitalised after intercepting a back pass to take the lead.

The village kept pushing and after half an hour we were awarded a penalty for handball, but unfortunately the Riverdale keeper denied top scorer Mark Kilpatrick from the spot.

Half time, 1-0.

We made an attacking change at the break and continued to create chances. Mark again came close in a 1v1 only for the keeper to make another big save.

Jason Nelson converted a penalty in the 89th minute to give us hope, but ultimately we left it too late.

A frustrating morning for the village that ends in defeat.

All the best to Riverdale FC for the remainder of the season. 🤝🏼

Our final game of the 2025/26 season takes place tomorrow night against Toome FC at Wakehurst, Pitch 1.

Mark Kilpatrick opened the scoring for the Village on the 15th minute after a good assist from Jason Nelson.

Ahoghill Rovers pulled one back on the 27th minute and the sides went into the break level at 1-1.

Goalkeeper Jonny Fields also saved a penalty and the rebound to keep it even going into the break, supers going for big Fieldsy! 🧤

Rovers went 2-1 ahead on the 53rd minute, however only a minute later Stuart Lynn assisted Mark Kilpatrick to bring the game back level at 2-2.

Ahoghill Rovers found a third goal later in the game which proved to be the winner in what was a brilliant end-to-end game for the neutral.

A special mention to Stuart Lynn who unfortunately fractured his elbow during the first half, but still played on for around 60 minutes before eventually coming off. A warrior effort that will unfortunately rule him out for our final two games of the season. 🤕🩵

Our season now heads towards the final two fixtures at Wakehurst:

🆚 Toome FC — Monday 11th May

Twin Village FC are saddened to hear of Robert Swann passing yesterday.

Rab officiated our first ever competitive win as a club, against Waveney in November 2024, a moment that will always stay with our club.

A gentleman we will remember for the craic and banter he had with everyone, and the character he brought to every game.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Rest in peace, Rab 🕊️

Woodside took the lead early in the second half on 52 minutes before doubling their advantage in the 81st minute.

Mark Kilpatrick pulled one back late on in the 86th minute, but it wasn’t enough to get anything from the game.

Three games left to finish the season strong 💪
