Three things to get in shape for summer. No fluff. πŸ‘‡

One. Get clear on your goal. 🎯
Not just how you want to look. How you want to feel and how you want to act when you get there. A vague goal gets a vague result. A clear one gives you something to actually work towards.

Two. Hire a coach. 🧠
Someone with the knowledge and understanding to give you the specific steps to get there. Not a generic plan. Someone who can look at where you are and map the exact route to where you want to be.

Three. Track your calories. πŸ“Š
This is the one most people resist. But here is the reality.
You go through your day not realising what you are actually consuming. When you start tracking and understanding what you are putting in your body, you often realise you are eating far more than you thought.

Awareness changes everything.

"When I don't track my calories I can see my body completely change. When I do track, my body comes in like that." πŸ’ͺ

Three things. A clear goal. The right coach. And the honesty to track what you eat.

A broken leg. A period away from training. And then a comeback that floored us. πŸ‘€

Paulene has been back at Evolve for only a few weeks following her injury.

This week she sent in her check-in and the numbers stopped us in our tracks.

157kg prowler push and pull.
80kg RDL.
37.5kg bicep curl.
59.5kg lateral pull down.
48.5kg leg extension.
50kg bench press. πŸ’ͺ

Personal bests. Across every single lift.

A few weeks back from a broken leg.

And her InBody scan confirmed what the sessions already showed. Weight going down. Muscle mass going up. Everything moving in the right direction. πŸ“ˆ

But here is the part that stood out most.

"Slow return equals strength moving forward. Never lose hope in yourself."

That is not just a training mindset. That is a life mindset. 🧠

Setbacks happen. Injuries happen. Life happens.

What defines you is not the setback.

Vee joined Evolve back in February. No gym background. No idea where to start. Just showed up and committed to changing her life.
