"The Inkerman Recreation Association would like to thank the Mountain Township and District Lions Club for their generous donation towards upgrading the rink surface, boards and lighting. As we embark on a multi-stage project to upgrade the rink, the support of the Lions encourages us. Fundraising activities have begun - follow us to know what's coming up next! Volunteers will have the rink ready for skating and hockey this season."

Here is another pic sent to us from a family member. Mort Belmore is in the middle. We are not sure who the other two players are with him. Mort played for the Inkerman Rockets in 1952-1953. If anyone knows who the other two players are, we would love to know.

The summer carnival showcased live music provided by the Ken Workman Band. These guys are exceptionally talented, and attending one of their performances is highly recommended.
