Congratulations to everyone who came out to shoot our last tournament of the year, the annual Multi-site Indoor Championship of the Americas Event. This event runs all year long, so final results will not be available until 2027.

Big shout-out to Josh Parker who shot a great round today on the inner 10 of 568 in the Compound Division, and to Serenity Last who posted another +560 round for the year in the Recurve Division.

That closes out our 2026 tournament season, so thank you to all participants for joining us.

2026 Ontario 10-ring Championship Week is in the books

Thank you to all the archers who competed at SNAC for the regional provincial 10-ring championship, which we hosted from February 16-22, 2026.

We have not calculated all the possible record-breaking performances, but certainly Travis Tyo broke his own record - congratulations. Serenity Last came very close to breaking SNAC archer Molly Solc's U21 recurve women's record - well done, Serenity.

2026 Regional Indoor Championships - all lines are full

As of 2026-02-04, all shooting spaces have been assigned for the Regional Indoor Championships at SNAC on Sunday, March 08.

The following spots are available currently for the Ontario provincial 10-ring:

Monday, February 16 at 6pm: 4 spots
Wednesday, February 18 at 6pm: 2 spots
Thursday, February 19 at 6pm: 3 spots
Sunday, February 22 at 10am: FULL

For MICA on March 10am line: 1 spot; Team Round: 1 team; 2pm line 8 spots.

2026 Provincial IFAA Championship Results from SNAC Site on January 18
Congratulations to all our competitors! There were some great performances and particular shout-outs go to these archers who set new provincial records (unofficially):

Serenity Last U21 Recurve
Margaret Sampson 60+ Recurve
Travis Tyo 21+ Hunter

As well, congratulations to Jessica Last who is the official poster child for how to excel in the 21+ Recurve division shooting a King's Pawn recurve - simple straight-stock pin sight, no cushion plunger, no clicker, no stabilisers. Way to go, Jessica!

Our next tournament is the provincial 10-ring championship starting on February 16th. Some spots are still available throughout the week. Contact Kathy or Larry ASAP if you wish to hold a spot for the night lines on 16th, 18th, 19th or 22nd (am line only)

2025 December WA18M well-attended and good scores, too

It was a full house for members and guests to shoot the first tournament of the 2025-2026 indoor season at SNAC.

Well done, everyone. Serenity Last posted another strong qualifier on a 3-spot triangular target for the 2027 Canada Winter Games team. A big shout-out to Jessica Last who used a club Kings Pawn recurve without a clicker and posted a very respectable score!

CLASSES CANCELLED for Wednesday, December 10, 2025

South Nation Archery wants to keep all students safe and off the roads tonight, so we are cancelling advanced classes at 6pm and 8pm. The forecasted snow rate is expected to be + 1cm / hour every hour until 10pm, with winds +/- 20kph.

SNAS' Class Cancellation Policy is in effect.
Advanced Thursday Classes will run as usual tomorrow.
Stay off the roads, please and let the snow ploughs do their jobs as quickly as possible.

Note that all spots for both the 10am and 2pm shooting lines have been booked for this tournament.
