Salsa Colada is more than a dance studio; it is a feeling. We blend Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, and Salsa Caleña into fun, dynamic classes.

We offer three levels for women and couples’ classes, creating confidence, connection, and joyful movement. Salsa Colada was founded by Juliany Qureshi in the year 2000 but Juliany has been dancing for as long as she can remember- Dance was a channel for confidence and as a way to reach back at her Latin roots. Salsa Colada’s purpose is to empower women and children ages 19months to the sky is the limit :) and to serve as an aid to channel dreams through dance. The group was first created by a group of brave- like minded women desiring to get out of the everyday work and home life and be part of a community that provides encouragement, positivity and confidence. Now we have added couples classes to our services in order to bring partners together. Every class has a mission beyond the benefits of cardio, health and movement- Salsa Colada’s mission is to ensure we become better, more confident, happier and healthier individuals through dance.

What an incredible experience! 🇨🇺❤️💃

We had such an amazing time learning from the one and only Harold, straight from Cuba!

There is something truly special about learning from someone who brings not only the technique, but also the culture, musicality, flavour and passion behind the dance.

The energy in the room was contagious, the learning was incredible, and we walked away with so much more than just new steps.

A huge thank you to Harold for sharing his knowledge, experience and love for Cuban dance with us. It was an absolute pleasure having you here!

And to everyone who joined us, thank you for showing up, embracing the experience and bringing your energy to the floor.

This is the essence of Salsa Colada. ❤️

It's about more than learning dance steps. It's about celebrating culture, honouring its roots and creating opportunities to learn from the very people who carry it, live it and breathe it.

Because culture is not just something you learn. It's something you experience, share and feel.

Hello, everyone! 💃🇨🇺 We’re bringing a little Cuba to Regina, and you’re invited!

Coming straight from Cuba, Harold Ferrán Molina, principal dancer with Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba, will be teaching Cuban salsa workshops in direct collaboration with Salsa Colada!

This is a wonderful opportunity to explore a different style, learn something new and bring a little extra flavour to your dancing. I’ll be there the entire time to help, cheer you on and make sure you have an amazing time. Yes, your teacher gets to be a student, too! 😂❤️

You come to learn a few steps, and somewhere along the way, you become part of someone’s dream. Mine, actually. And now you’re stuck with me counting to eight for a living. 😂❤️💃

To everyone who supports Salsa Colada, thank you. For choosing my classes, being patient as we grow and bringing the kind of positive energy that makes the whole room feel lighter.

Running a business means wearing all the hats. Some days I’m the teacher, the administrator, the marketing department, the cleaning crew. The staff meetings are just me talking to myself, but somehow we still disagree. 😂

Finding a class formula that works for most people takes care, creativity and adjustments. Every week, I take pride in trying to get that balance right so you feel challenged, encouraged and lifted up when you leave. Preferably with a few steps you remember. 😉

Because you keep showing up, learning and trusting me, we’re growing into more advanced classes. That growth belongs to you, too. Your effort and enthusiasm make it possible.

Want the extra challenge? Add the arm styling. Need to focus on your feet first? Let those arms mind their business for a minute.

We’re adults. We make enough decisions all day. Surely we can decide how spicy we want our dancing. 🌶️🔥

This is a little window into my classes: we learn, we laugh, we challenge ourselves, and sometimes we negotiate with our body parts.

I’ll encourage you to grow, give you options and bring enough Latina energy to keep things interesting. You bring yourself and a willingness to try. ❤️
