Recently, during a high school football game, a close friend of our Spirit of the Dragon family suffered a very serious brain injury. Hunter was transported by STARS Air Ambulance and underwent emergency brain surgery to save his life. Thankfully, the surgery went as well as could have been hoped. While Hunter is not awake yet, he is slowly showing positive signs of recovery. He is fighting hard, but he still has a long road ahead of him.

We cannot begin to imagine what Hunter’s family is going through right now. It is literally every parent's nightmare.

Along with the emotional toll, the financial burden can be overwhelming. The costs of travel and staying at the hospital, lost wages, and other unexpected expenses are just some of the challenges Hunter’s family is facing during this incredibly difficult time.

If you are able, please consider donating to Hunter’s GoFundMe to help support his family in the days and weeks ahead. Every donation, no matter the amount, can help ease some of the financial stress and allow his family to focus on what matters most — being there for Hunter and supporting his recovery.
