From June 1–30, CrossFit Kemptville is proud to be hosting a Shoe Drive in support of Soles4Souls Canada's 4Opportunity Program.

Have a pair of shoes collecting dust in your closet? Instead of throwing them away, donate them and help create economic opportunity for families around the world.

The 4Opportunity Program helps aspiring entrepreneurs in low-income countries start and grow small businesses by providing access to donated shoes and clothing that they can sell within their communities. Through entrepreneurship, individuals can generate sustainable income, support their families, create jobs, and build stronger local economies. In 2022 alone, entrepreneurs participating in the program increased their household income by an average of 233%, with many improving access to education, housing, health care, and nutrition for their families.

Every pair of shoes donated helps:
âś… Support small business owners and entrepreneurs
âś… Create sustainable economic opportunities
âś… Reduce waste and keep usable footwear out of landfills
âś… Make affordable footwear more accessible in underserved communities

We're accepting all types of gently used shoes throughout the month of June. Simply drop your donations in the collection box at CrossFit Kemptville.

Together, we can turn something as simple as a pair of shoes into opportunity, independence, and hope.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who participated in Brent's first 8-Week Gymnastics Pulling Series!

The program wrapped up last week, and it was incredible to see the progress made throughout the eight weeks. Several members achieved their first Pull-Up and Ring Muscle-Up, while many others made significant improvements in their Chest-to-Bar endurance, pulling strength, and overall gymnastics capacity.

Thank you for your commitment, hard work, and enthusiasm throughout the series. Watching our members develop new skills, build confidence, and achieve milestones is what makes these programs so rewarding. While dedicating time to mastering the fundamentals may not always be the most exciting part of training, it is essential for long-term success and skill development. We appreciate everyone who embraced the process and put in the work week after week.

We're excited to kick off our next 8-Week Gymnastics Series on June 11th, where we'll be turning our focus upside down! Participants will have the opportunity to develop their handstand skills, build a strong foundation for inversion work, work toward Handstand Walking, and gain confidence in a variety of upside-down movements.

We can't wait to see what everyone accomplishes in the next phase of their gymnastics journey!

For this one, we’re embracing the bump. Athletes will partner up and strap on a “baby belly” using wall balls and saran wrap to get a small taste of training while pregnant.

🎉NOTE: Members if you have access to your own Wall Ball, Weight Vest at home or ok to part with some saran wrap, please bring along with you 🙂 That will help to ensure everyone can fully participant.

It all goes down on June 13th, 2026 starting at 9am sharp with registration kicking off at 8am. Athletes will be put to the test in fun challenging events suitable for a broad range of ability levels with WOD hints dropped days leading up to the event.
