Seibukan Karate Dojo Edmonton Traditional Okinawan karate fighting for a better world. Our dojo is in Strathcona High School, in south-central Edmonton.

We are a provincially-registered non-profit, and chartered by the International Okinawan Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate Association.

Giri is acting according to what is right. Silence in the face of oppression of others would be complicity.

“And what is a positive attitude?”, he was asked.

Day 7 of our celebration of Pride Month.

In previous years, our dojo marked this month with 1 or 2 posts. But in these dangerous and bigoted times, I've put something up every day so far.

Some of my posts are getting hate-filled responses (that I've deleted) from homophobes (who I've blocked), which proves to me these are needed.
