Hey fellow jujutsu-ka. For those who have not been at class lately and who may have missed the AJJA e-newsletter, here is a link to view the most recent message http://bit.ly/2sJJN6K - Two big items to note are (1) 2019 AJJA membership is past due. Back from Budo Fest and anxious to share the the knowledge and continue to play wih all of the techniques and concepts. Who's going to join me for 2019's trip to BC?

If you are seeing it online... If you are seeing it in class... If you are seeing different versions and you wonder why, then ask questions. It's one thing to mimic to get the idea but ask about the mechanics. Why it's done "that way". If it can't be answered, then it's time for both teacher and student to go pay a visit to someone who can answer it. And there is nothing wrong with getting multiple opinions and learning outside the system "box". My two cents. Here is a small example.
