We love watching the beginners increase confidence, reduce pain, have more energy, build strength, get more mobile.

But to go from couch to box jump, that stuff can’t be made up and makes us so proud ❤️

Our next summer beginner small group program is launching.

What is it?
-6 people/ session
-individual assessment and program modifications if needed
- a starter program if you’re new to fitness or getting back into movement again

Let’s be real, motivation isn’t something you just have, it’s not something that magically switches in your brain and suddenly you want to workout consistently.

It’s about building a library of why’s for you on the days when you don’t feel like doing it.

It’s about having accountability and a scheduled session to show up to with a team and friends who will question where you are if you’re not there.

It’s about understanding that on the days where you may lack motivation, these ones count the most.

So next time you want to skip the gym, go to your why’s, tell yourself you will just do lighter weights, just walk in the door and see what happens….

Motivation isn’t this magical thing that you always have….and waiting until you’re motivated may just keep you stuck forever.

On the days when you don’t want to move, workout, go for a walk, stretch, do mobility…go back to your why, whatever that may be for you.

We all lack motivation to workout, it’s having a plan in place for when it happens.

•Having it in your schedule, keeping workout days the same every week.

•Having accountability with a trainer, paying for training, having workout buddies

•Knowing that motivation will ebb and flow

•Remembering how you feel when the workout is done

Next time you lack motivation, do a check in!

ps. This happens to ALL of us, but I’ve never heard a person say, “man, I regret that workout.”

We’ve gone through skinny trends & body building trends.

We’re told what to do constantly, but the science is clear.

Building muscle has so many benefits. For injury, pain, independence, disease, fall prevention, mental health.

This isn’t about bigger biceps and 6-packs, it’s about bone density and getting on and off the toilet without thinking about it.

Check out our latest blog on the many benefits of building muscle!

Movement really is magic.

It can keep you independent, boost your confidence, prevent disease.

Increase bone mass, lower your fall risk, help you heal faster from injury.

It’s a natural anti-depressant and the most underutilized “drug” in the world.

It’s no longer acceptable to not move. To strength train, walk, and be active is now part of the next generation, and we’re slowly making it part of the baby boomer generation too!

It’s true…. The stats are quite alarming.

If you workout 2-3x/ week you’re above average globally.

So just remember that when you’re feeling like the slowest, weakest or you’re just straight up nervous to walk in the door in the first place.

You belong here.

The year is 2026 and women decided to lift weights for bone density, function, mental health and to stay independent, not to be what society tells them they should be.

Your kids, grandkids, mothers, aunts, sisters, they’re watching, even if you’re the first in your bloodline to lift a barbell, DO NOT STOP!
