Whether you’re coaching from the sidelines, helping with a team, driving to games, throwing the footy around at home or simply being your child’s biggest supporter — thank you!

Our kids are lucky to have you cheering them on, encouraging them to have a go and helping create the memories that make junior sport so special.

I may be a bit bias with being a huge North Queensland Cowboys supporter but how awesome is this!

Australian Oztag is proud to welcome NRL Star Scott Drinkwater as the newest Australian Oztag Ambassador.

For Drinkwater, Oztag wasn’t just something he played growing up. It became a foundation for both his sporting journey and many of the friendships he still values today.

This is exactly how we hope our players see Yeppoon Oztag - somewhere to make memories with friends and a foundation for their sporting journey - it doesn't matter what code they play throughout the year, it all helps develop conditioning to be utilized across multiple sports.

It was great to see even more teams hit the field for the first time this season — and we are absolutely loving all the awesome team shirts getting around this year! 🤩🙌

Exciting news — nominations are officially NOW OPEN for the 2027 Junior State Cup!

Yeppoon Falcons Oztag is excited to once again be part of the action, and in 2027 we would love to see our Falcons represented across as many junior divisions as possible.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from players across our U10–U15 age groups who would like the opportunity to represent the Yeppoon Falcons at the 2027 Junior State Cup.

If your child is interested in being part of the team, please complete their nomination using the link below:

👉 WHEN COMPLETING YOUR NOMINATION
Please follow these steps:
1. Click “I’m Already on a Team”
2. Select the appropriate DIVISION — please choose the age group your child will be in during 2027 (for example 2011 born will be U16 division)
3. Under TEAM, select YEPPOON FALCONS from the drop-down menu.

Please note: If we receive interest from more than 17 players in an age group, trials will be held to finalise team selection.

Due to the size of the tournament, games are played across multiple precincts:

• Stadium Precinct – 31 Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina
• Meridan AFL Precinct – 45 Red Cedar Drive, Meridan Plains
• Caloundra JRL – Central Park Road, Caloundra
• Caloundra Union – Lighthouse Park, 81 Arthur Street, Caloundra

💰 PLAYER COSTS
Tournament Fee: $150.00 + GST
Playing Top: $45.00 + GST
Playing Shorts: $45.00 + GST
Playing Tights: $50.00 + GST

Junior State Cup is so much more than another representative tournament.
It is an incredible opportunity for our juniors to represent the Falcons, compete against some of the best Oztag players in Queensland, develop their game and create some unforgettable memories with their teammates.

We would absolutely love to see a huge Yeppoon Falcons contingent heading to the Sunshine Coast in January!

We have some AMAZING news to share!

This week, just before we hit the fields for our 3rd Junior Oztag season in Yeppoon, our venue reached a HUGE milestone…

🥁🥁🥁 1000 MEMBERS! 🥳

WOW!

When we started this journey just two years ago, we could only have hoped that Oztag would be embraced the way it has been by our local community.

To see our venue grow to 1000 members in such a short time is something we are incredibly proud of — and we couldn’t have done it without YOU! 🫶

A massive THANK-YOU to every player who has pulled on the tags, every parent and family who has supported from the sidelines, every team manager and referee who has helped us each week, and everyone who has supported our new venue along the way.

Watching Yeppoon fall in love with Oztag has been pretty special. 🧡💜

We are so excited to see what the future holds as we continue to grow our sport here in Yeppoon!
