Ladies Open
Nominations are now open for this year's ladies open on the 10th of July. Nomination sheet is on the notice board. Thank you to 'Just Better Care' for sponsoring this event.
Men's Open
Nominations are now open for this year's men's open on the 1st and 2nd of August. You can either email your nominations or talk to the bar staff about putting your name on the sheet. If anyone is not playing in the mens open and would like to volunteer to cook the BBQ on either day it would be greatly appreciated. Please see Karen or myself if you would like to volunteer. We would also like to thank Peter Cutts (Trend Interiors Tile and Carpet Court) for being the major sponsor of this event.

2026 QUEENSLAND STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2026 Queensland State golf Championships was played over for days at the Yeppoon and Rockhampton golf courses.,
On day one Sunday 14th. Monday 15th. June, Yeppoon played host to the 13-19 year and under aged division, then on Tuesday 16 & Wednesday 17th. June, Yeppoon played host to the 10 - 12 aged division. junior golfers travelled to Central Queensland from Schools and golf clubs throughout the state in a bid to not only win this event but to be selected into the state team that will play against all other states later in the year.
Yeppoon’s rising junior golf star Lily Mc Guiness has continued to prove that she is the one to beat after her winning the Queensland girls state school championships with round of 73 & 76 at the Yeppoon golf club then went onto win the junior girls championships with 78 & 77 at the Rockhampton golf club.

Veterans News
The nominations for the final Tri series game to be held at Yeppoon on Friday 26th June close this Monday 22nd. We need a good representation because we currently trail Rockhampton by 32 points. Best 10 scores count, roll up your sleeves, nominate (form on notice board) and put in a good one so that we can make up the difference.
Game cost is $15.00 after the subsidy and includes lunch. Men’s and Ladies winner, runner up, 2nd runner up and rundown.
Rocky said they are bringing 45 starters so that they can retain their lead. We will be doing our best to see that doesn’t happen, so it will be a good day.
