Working bee postponed. Weather forecast for Saturday is great for golf but not flash for the afternoon- first go at a club working bee is postponed. We will have a go later.

Not that many in our 18-hole comp last week - not surprising given the poor weather and course closure. Well done to everyone who managed to get a round in.

Jason Dicker and Duran Hall won today's Isuzu Elevens 2 Ball Ambrose at Seabrook Golf Club with a nett 37.17 after shooting a six under 39 for 11 holes, three shots clear of runners up Penguin Golf Club's Troy and Lucas Revell's 40.44 (47 gross) and Tarraleah Golf Club's Brett and Sheryl Hilder's 41.59 (48 gross).
Better scores were Glenn Bellinger and Anne Franks 42.05 (48) and Kye Morgan and Thomas Rossiter 42.35 (48) and Keith Smith and Ian Dutton 42.57 (47).

The course was is terrific shape considering the recent poor weather during the week, a real credit to the work of our greenskeeper Heath and team. A good field welcomed guests from Penguin, Burnie, Wynyard and Tarraleah golf clubs. A big thank you to Kellie, Karla, Ian and Hannah for their help with today's event and Isuzu Ute Burnie for their continued partnership.

Congratulations to Paul and Errol... who just managed to edge out Brett and Adrian, a pair of our Tarraleah guests, on countback!
Our top nine groups were all within 3 points of the winners, some very competitive scores.

Tee spots are filling fast and Sunday's weather forecast looks good.
Course will be closed until around noon (while competition is on).
