Ride the red Foxbat from Smithton back to Wynyard via the various islands of Western Bass Strait. This was captured last Sunday afternoon when there was a gloomy overcast sky in the Smithton area. The sun low in the NW sky made for difficult filming conditions, but here it is anyway... [CAUTION: "rapid" turns may cause nausea for some individuals]

Ride the red Foxbat, coastal from St Helens to Barnbougle at 4x speed. Sun glare was a major issue for this flight, but maybe the annotations will make up for it... NOTE: the real-time 4K version is now on the Wandering Foxbat YouTube channel.

Ride the red Foxbat on yesterday's Anzac Flypast from Wynyard to the Burnie-Penguin-Ulverstone-Devonport Cenotaphs and then return to Wynyard. This view (with video deliberately silent) looks back from the red Foxbat (pilot Gary McArthur) towards the following yellow Foxbat (pilot: Dick Jones) and white Victa (pilot: Doug Dow). These three aircraft comprised the slow group. The fast group was the red Cirrus (pilot: Craig Brooks), white Cirrus (pilot: David McCarthy), blue Cirrus (pilot: Chris Anderson) and white Piper (pilot: Ian Tucker). Thank you to those ground-based observers who posted their pics and viceos after we flew over.

WYNYARD AERO CLUB ANZAC FLYPAST

We have 7 aircraft taking part today in our traditional Anzac Flypast, arranged in two flying groups (fast and slow).

If there are no unforeseen delays, expect to see the lead aircraft fly over at these times:
