Our Under 14 boys have grown together as a team since their MiniRoos days. Six members of this squad came through the Diamonds MiniRoos program, while others joined over the past two seasons from different clubs or sporting codes, drawn to the Diamonds culture and the chance to play alongside their mates.

That shared journey has created something special, a squad that is built on genuine friendship, trust and belief. After reaching the semi-finals in Under 12s and the quarter-finals in Under 13s, the boys have developed and grown and are now rewarded with this Cup Final opportunity.

They finished second on the ladder this season with an impressive 15 wins and just three losses. Every victory was hard-earned, but the boys stayed united, worked tirelessly and built the resilience that carried them into the semi-final.

Their semi final game was played all the way through regular time, where the boys came back from 0-2 down. With the scores still locked at 2-2 after extra time the match went to a penalty shootout. The boys held their nerve to secure a 3–2 victory, sending them off to their first Cup Final.

♦️U12 Boys (Pool B)♦️

The Under 12’s competition marks a huge transition for players as they move up from MiniRoos and onto the junior pitch for the first time.

After a successful year in Under 11’s in 2025, but with just seven players returning from last year our squad needed to rebuild. The squad came together through a mix of returning players, new faces and young players stepping up.

Together, this group of 15 put together a consistent season, finishing third on the ladder. After finding another gear in the second half of their final regular-season game, the boys headed into the finals full of confidence, and they haven’t looked back.

Whatever happens this weekend, they can be incredibly proud of what they have achieved. It has been an amazing year of growth, fun, teamwork and friendship.

Congratulations to our Division 3 Men, Under 14 Boys, and Under 12 Boys (Pool B) on their fantastic semi-final victories, securing their place in next week’s Grand Finals.

We’re so proud to see these teams rewarded with a shot at premiership glory.

Congratulations to Jasmine Towers on taking out the Division 1 Women’s Top Goalkeeper award. Jasmine has had an outstanding season between the posts, and this recognition is a credit to all the hard work and commitment she’s shown throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to April Whitty on being named AWFA Volunteer of the Year. Anyone who knows our MiniRoos program knows just how much time, energy and heart April poured into making this Diamonds MiniRoos season a memorable one. This award is so well deserved, and we couldn’t be happier to see her recognised.

We’re incredibly proud of both April and Jasmine. Thank you for everything you do for our club, and congratulations on such well-earned achievements! ❤️🤍

Aimed at coaches working with advanced beginner to competent level players, or players aged approximately 12 and above.

This course provides a logical connection to the Foundation of Football Certificate, covering in greater detail the technical aspects of the game (passing, receiving, dribbling, and defending), the principles of coaching and play, and teaching behaviour across different practice methods.
