Our Mini-Roo's Presentation was a fantastic success after a very successful season of soccer. We are very grateful to all of our coaches, families, superstar kids and our club for supporting and advocating for us so much throughout our first season as Mini-Roo's coordinators.

Special thanks must always go to our wonderful Committee - our club president, Murray Ray and Under 8s coach, our Vice President, David Richards and Under 10s coach, club secretary, Lauren and club treasurer, Carmen for helping and supporting us each week. It's not lost how lucky we are. Special mention to Jess Schubert for volunteering to run the canteen for our hosting half each week and never once breaking a sweat! And to all the parents who stepped up and volunteered their time to support us. Our sense of community is strong.

Thank you to all our coaches - old and new, who saw the need to help and did so. With 218 Mini-Roo's kids running around, you made it look so effortless. You are amazing and we look forward to seeing you next year. You've made an impact on our kids.

And thank you to our families who just kept on showing up. Week after week. Cutting hotdog rolls, rolling out goals, putting up goals, finding balls, cooking and serving, helping coach on Thursdays and encouraging our kids. It all made a difference. Thank you for everything. We couldn't have done this season without you. We're very, very grateful. We look forward to what 2027 will bring us.

Tomorrow is our Mini-Roo's Presentation Day!

We will be starting at 11:30am on our fields for a 12pm presentation so make sure you have plenty of time to get there!

Our BBQ will be ready by 12:30pm. It will be served on the grassy knoll overlooking our beautiful fields. Drinks will be $2 and are available through our canteen.

Mini-Roo's can wear casual clothes. There will be goals set up for kids to have a play. Bring a picnic blanket and some chairs and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Let's celebrate our successful season and wonderful kids! We can't wait!

Here it is! Our final round has arrived and what a fantastic season of soccer we have had! From our first 7 games at Jelbart Round to the final 7 hosting at our own grounds - it's been a journey and we are so lucky and proud to have hosted so many clubs at our fields. Thank you for supporting Wodonga Diamond's this season.

The amazing Arch & Willow Co. will be here for our final weekend so grab your coffee fix and support a wonderful local business.

What to bring:
Water bottles
Shin pads
Oranges and lollies (for whoever is on duty in your team)

Please ensure you are at least 15 minutes early to find your field, warm up and get ready for your game.

HOT CHOCOLATE NIGHT THIS THURSDAY NIGHT!

Our Under 13's boys will be going around taking orders for hot chocolates this Thursday during our final Mini-Roo's training session. Made by our very own barista and only $4 (!!!) enjoy a hot beverage and our final training session for the season!

COACH SPOTLIGHT NIGHT!

Tonight is our last coach spotlight and I thought it was about time to include our new Mini-Roo's coordinator to the line-up of coaches that we've shared over this season. To say this writer is biased may be an understatement - but to many, Luke Whitty is the Mini-Roo's coordinator, Under 9's coach and to our Over 35's team he's simply known as 'Speedy', - but to me and our children - he's my wonderful husband, amazing Dad and a great friend to many, many more who have encountered him over the last few years. Luke took on the role of coordinator this year in the hope of pursuing female football further for our Mini-Roo's girls teams. He was quite successful in his venture - submitting 4 teams in 3 different age groups and while he would shirk from his accomplishments, it is something to be proud of. Luke is a force - determined and an overachiever who never stops, but he's also a larrikin, whose always up for a chat and a laugh no matter who you are and will be in your corner, no matter what.

Tonight, I am honoured to present Luke Whitty as my last coach spotlight for this season.
