PROGRAM 4 – THIS SATURDAY 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We’re looking forward to another great morning of athletics this Saturday for Program 4!

🕘 Check-in: 8:45am

What a fantastic final training session tonight! 🙌

Athletes rotated through hurdles, sprinting, high jump scissors, and finished with lots of fun running games, bringing plenty of energy, laughter and great effort right to the end of the season. It was awesome to see everyone giving things a go, encouraging their teammates and having fun together.

Our next Wednesday Training Session is on tomorrow night from 5:30pm – 6:30pm and will focus on:

• High Jump
• High Jump Scissors
• Hurdles

A great opportunity for athletes to build confidence, refine technique and get some extra practice in across these events.

🏃‍♀️❤️ State Track & Field Championships – Knox ❤️🏃‍♂️

What an incredible weekend for our Wodonga Little Athletics Centre athletes competing at the State Track & Field Championships at Knox.

We are so proud of the effort, determination and sportsmanship shown by every athlete who represented our centre on the big stage. Competing at State level is a huge achievement and you all did Wodonga proud.

From medals, personal bests and brave racing to stepping up against the best athletes from across Victoria, it was fantastic to see our athletes giving it their all.

👏 A huge congratulations to all of our competitors and thank you to the families, coaches and supporters who cheered them on throughout the weekend.

We can’t wait to hear all about it when we see you back at the track!

Just a friendly reminder that there will be no athletics in Wodonga tomorrow as many of our athletes will be competing at the State Track & Field Championships in Melbourne.

As we near the end of another fantastic season at Wodonga Little Athletics Centre, we want to take a moment to celebrate what we’ve achieved together.

Thanks to the incredible support of our amazing sponsors, we’ve been able to invest in new equipment, improve our facilities, and continue building an environment where our athletes can learn, compete and thrive.

Join us as we celebrate an incredible season at the Wodonga Little Athletics Centre Presentation Night! 🎉

We can’t wait to recognise the hard work, determination and achievements of all our athletes. Before presentations begin, we will also hold our annual 800m Fun Run, giving athletes one last chance this season to chase a PB or even a new centre record.

Come along for a fun afternoon with free burritos thanks to Guzman Y Gomez, drinks and ice-cream for our athletes, plus hot chips available for purchase.

It’s a wonderful chance to celebrate the season together with our WLAC community — athletes, families and volunteers. We look forward to seeing you there! 🏃‍♂️🌯🍦

🏃 800m runners: Please arrive at 3:30pm

🚫 NO TRAINING TOMORROW 🚫

With no competition this Saturday due to the State Track & Field Championships in Melbourne, there will be no training tomorrow.

We’ll be back into it next week! 💪🔥

In the meantime, our committee will be busy behind the scenes preparing for the end of season celebrations and wrapping things up for another fantastic year.

Good luck to all our athletes competing at State – we’re cheering you on! ❤️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
