🖤💙💛❤️

On October 10th, the Border Bears RLFC and Albury Wodonga Rugby Union Football Club are teaming up for the 2026 Women’s 9s Tackle Carnival.

Our players will be joining forces to take on the carnival, bringing together players from both rugby union and rugby league for a huge celebration of women’s sport in our region. 💪

We’re looking for local businesses and supporters to get behind the team and help make the day one to remember.

The Bears fought until the final whistle in a tough Grand Final against the Albury Muddogs, going down 26–24 in a two-point thriller.

For the first time in club history, our Men’s team made it to a Grand Final - and they did it by working hard, believing and putting everything on the line all season long.

Today didn’t go our way, but there is so much for this group to be proud of. They’ve made history, and they’ve shown exactly what the Border Bears are capable of.

Heads held high, Bears. We’ll be back next season ❤️🖤
