Yesterday wasn’t the result the Opens wanted, but my goodness they fought hard for it! Multiple lead changes, slim margins and some big contests. Congratulations to all the girls, coaches & support staff on a cracking season.
A huge thanks to all the volunteers who helped out yesterday – hosting a grand final day is a mammoth effort and it’s all on the backs of our amazing volunteer committee and club members.
To the supporters – thanks for coming and lending your voices and energy to the girls – and an extra-special shoutout to Corowa Rutherglen ffc for supporting our girls like they’re your own!
Season 2026 has been a ripper – time to rest & reset, but we’ll be back on the field before you know it ❤️💙
