Centrals Cricket Club is pleased to announce our 2026/2027 Committee.
We welcome the new committee and thank everyone who has put their hand up to help guide the club into the new season.

Set to call Apex Park home for his debut season on Australian soil, the young keeper-batter will be looking to make an immediate impact both on and off the field in his new colours.

Centrals Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Tikka has re-signed with the club for the 2026/27 season.

The reigning Club Champion returns for another big year in sky blue and will also take on the role of Development Coach, helping guide our young group of players as they continue to take their game to the next level.

The current Centrals Cricket Club Committee would like to invite you to the upcoming Annual General Meeting which will be held on Wednesday 3rd June 2026. The meeting will commence at 7.30pm sharp at Apex Park, Gilmour Street, Traralgon.

The AGM provides you with the opportunity to have your say and voice your opinion on the running of our club, and to elect the appropriate office bearers to run Centrals Cricket Club in season 2026/27.

You have the opportunity to nominate someone for a position either in writing or by using the attached nomination form and returning it:

It’s hard to find the words to write this.

It's with deep sadness we share the tragic passing of Centrals Life Member & Hall of Famer Paul Matters.

PM was everything our club stands for. He wasn't just a part of Centrals, he is Centrals. His contribution to our club spans across decades.

- 229 games
- 404 wickets (First player to officially pass 400 wickets and 4th all time)
- 14 x 5fa's
- Holds the C grade aggregate of 40 wickets in a season.
- 5 years as treasurer
- About a decade as curator and in my bias opinion he was the best going around.

PM was often called captain grumpy, and even though as all curators are, he was, those who knew him, saw through it as all it stood for was an unwavering amount of passion and love for his beloved club.

Looking across the ground on a Saturday arvo or a Thursday night to see you charging over for a beer always brought a smile to my face mate.
We will talk about you always and miss you forever mate.

What he has given us as a club we will forever be grateful.

Our thoughts are with PM's beautiful wife Desma, family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
