ASSOCIATION CHAMPS FINALS DAY

Congratulations to Harvey and Brielle being invited to umpire the finals day for Netball Victoria’s Association Championships

Held at the State Netball Centre this event is where the top 2 teams from each Age Group Championship Division at Assoc Champs Zone Days compete for overall top Association/League in the State (Eastern Zone held last Sunday).

Umpires are identified at each zone event and invited to attend the finals day today. A wonderful achievement for Harvey and Brielle.

ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026
On Sunday, TNAs four 13s/15s female teams, 17s Male and 5 umpires participated in Netball Victoria’s annual talent identification events - Association Championships.

It was a successful day, with 4 of our 5 teams reaching the semi-finals.

Our Overall Results:
🏐 13 Championship – 4th overall, narrowly missing the Grand Final in a tough overtime.
🏐 13 Reserves – Finished 1st after the rounds, but unfortunately eliminated in a close semi-final.
🏐 15 Championship – 4th overall, losing to eventual champions Bairnsdale in the semi-final.
🏐 15 Reserves – 6th overall, with several close contests throughout the day
🏐 17 Boys – 4th overall, losing to eventual champions Hoppers Crossing in the semi-final.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, sportsmanship and teamwork shown by all players and wish them well in the Talent ID process.

*Be a 2026 community member - player, players direct family, coach, umpire or committee member)
*Complete the below Expression of Interest form.
*Ticket EOI is limited to 4 tickets per response. If you are a larger family and require more please contact us at [email protected]

Tickets will be awarded to families who meet the above criteria on a first in basis. Our EOI registrations will be checked each evening and successful families will be notified of collection options via email from our secretary.

🎖️B BADGED ACHIEVED!🎖️

A huge congratulations to Ruby Adams on achieving her Umpire B Badge today!

Ruby’s umpiring talent and dedication shone from the first day she took the court - so this result is no surprise to anyone that has seen her in action!

Ruby controls the court with a strength and determination that inspires. During her years at TNA Ruby has mentored some of our best upcoming umpires and has been such a role model to new trainees joining Team White.

Recently Ruby left us and moved to SA, and although she is greatly missed, she has proven you can take your umpiring skills interstate with ease. Thank you Great Southern Netball Association for looking after our girl and helping her achieve her B badge.

A B Badge is very hard to achieve - especially in regional areas. To now have 2 of our TNA Umpire family achieve this accomplishment makes us so proud.

Although as our badged umpires grow and take their umpiring to the next level to more challenging opportunities - they are always considered TNA family and we love watching and sharing their journey.

Thanks for sharing your news today Ruby! We can’t wait till you are home next to celebrate 🥳

Just like everyone’s employment rights, Volunteers also have a right to disconnect and decide when to volunteer time.

TNA use email or on game day face to face to communicate for all TNA matters so we can balance our weekly commitments (full time careers, families, health etc)

We volunteer because we love to support your juniors netball journey and passion. But we need personal time too. As much as we love speaking to you about netball, there is a process so our committee members can have time without interruption.

Please do not private message committee members directly for answers.

Please follow the outlined processes for any enquiries you may have any time. Our volunteers will check emails regularly in the time they have allocated to their volunteer role.

We do what we do so all juniors can experience sport in a fun, fair and inclusive environment. Please in return be respectful of our time and efforts so we continue being available for everyone.
