SEMI FINALS RESULTS

What a weekend for the Tigers!

An amazing six teams are through to the Grand Final on Saturday 19 September.

Our 13&U Div 2, 17&U Div 2 and 19&U teams will battle it out in the Preliminary Finals this Saturday 12 September with a Grand Final spot on the line.

Today also brought the conclusion of the 2026 season for C Grade and A Grade. Both teams have done our club incredibly proud, both on and off the court. We know they’ll take the lessons from this season, come back stronger and be more determined than ever in 2027.

🏆👏 Huge day in Portarlington today with the following teams booking their ticket to the Grand Final on 19 September:
- U15 Div 1
- U15 Div 2
- U17 Div 1
- E Grade
- D Grade
- B Grade

Another big day in store tomorrow with U13 Div 2, C Grade and A Grade competing for a spot in the Preliminary Finals.

Friday night’s Winter Season Preliminary Finals delivered some exceptionally close and hard-fought games, with Team Carty, Team Jacobsen and Team Pyers narrowly missing out on a place in the Grand Final.

Congratulations to all our teams on an outstanding season. You’ve represented the Torquay Tigers with pride, determination and plenty of heart, and we couldn’t be prouder of what you’ve achieved.

A huge thank you to our incredible coaches, age managers and the amazing parents and families who give so much to our players and our club. Your dedication and support never goes unnoticed.

This week, we are thrilled to recognise Nicole Nelson as our Ena Pelly Volunteer of the Week!

Nicole has been a familiar face around the Torquay Tigers for many years. Alongside her husband Paul, and through the involvement of their three children, Xav, Jack and Sienna, the Nelson family has been a wonderful part of our club community.

Over the years, Nicole has generously given her time in a number of roles, including serving on the Junior Committee and as Football Club Treasurer. Nicole and Paul have also sponsored and supported the Torquay Tigers for many years, and Nicole continues to give back to the club as a member of our Football Committee in 2026.

Her ongoing commitment, generosity and willingness to get involved makes Nicole a very worthy recipient of this week’s Ena Pelly Volunteer of the Week.

Thank you, Nicole, for everything you do for our club! We are so lucky to have you and the entire Nelson family as part of the Tiger family. 🖤💛

As our Female Football Coordinator and Welfare Officer, Jules brings an incredible level of passion, care and dedication to everything she does. She is an unwavering advocate for our female football program, creating an environment where every player feels welcomed, supported and valued.

Jules leads with kindness and genuine care. She understands that football is about much more than the game itself, it’s about building confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging.

Her commitment has helped strengthen and grow our female football program, inspiring players of all ages and creating opportunities for the next generation of Tigers.
