Join our July School Holiday Netball Clinic!

Led by our senior players, this clinic is designed to give young netball enthusiasts aged 6-10years the opportunity to develop their netball skills, build confidence, make new friends, and most importantly, have plenty of fun!

📆 Friday 10th July, 2026
🕰️ 9:30am - 1:30pm.
📍Wurdi Baierr Stadium

🐯 Ena Pelly Volunteer of the Week 🐯

This week’s Ena Pelly Volunteer of the Week Award goes to Skye Carty.

As our U13 Netball Coordinator, Skye is constantly working behind the scenes to ensure every team has enough players each week, particularly when illness, holidays, and other commitments create challenges. She spends countless hours checking availability, moving players between teams, and making sure every player has the opportunity to take the court.

Skye is always the first to put her hand up to help, no matter the task. Her positive attitude, willingness to support others, and dedication to our players, families, and volunteers make her an invaluable part of our club community.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Skye, and she consistently goes above and beyond to keep things running smoothly. We are incredibly fortunate to have her as our U13 Coordinator and are grateful for everything she does for the Torquay Tigers.

Today, our Net Set Go participants had the exciting opportunity to join our A Grade players for their pre-game warm-up.

It was a special moment to see our youngest netballers running alongside some of the club’s most experienced players, sharing smiles, high fives and plenty of enthusiasm. Opportunities like these are what make community sport so special, bringing generations of players together, creating connections, and showing our juniors the pathways that lie ahead.

There’s something pretty powerful about watching little footprints follow in big ones. For our Net Set Go participants, it’s a chance to dream, be inspired and feel like they belong to something bigger than themselves. For our A Grade players, it’s an opportunity to lead by example and help nurture the next generation of Tigers.

Moments like this remind us that our club is about more than netball. It’s about community, belonging, friendships and creating an environment where every player, no matter their age, feels valued and connected.

The future of our club looks bright, and today it was wonderful to see it warming up alongside the present. 🐯🖤💛
