A great day at the Geelong Sharks Swim Meet for our small group of swimmers. Lots of personal best times and two winning relay teams!

Congratulations to our 2 x 10/u & 2 x 14/o medley relay team - Charlotte N, Alice W, Mitch N & Eli P 🥇, our 12/u medley relay team - Charlotte N, Eli P & Henry H 🥇and our 15/u medley relay team - Niamh D, Jack H, Alice W & Henry H 4️⃣

Jack H (U13) & Henry H (U11) were also crowned the overall point score winners in their respective age groups.

A big thank you to Geelong Sharks Swimming Club for hosting the event.

We’re looking for another junior swim coach to join our current group of coaches due to our rapidly increasing numbers!

Surf Coast Swim Club is seeking a Junior Coach to support the development of young swimmers and foster a lifelong love of swimming. This role involves delivering on-deck coaching in alignment with the club’s program, working closely with the Head Coach and Assistant Coach to enhance technique, fitness, and performance.

Surf Coast Swim Club is an inclusive, Swimming Victoria-affiliated club that caters to both competitive and non-competitive swimmers. Training takes place at Kardinia Pool Complex and Waurn Ponds Leisurelink, with locations subject to lane hire agreements.

This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to grow within a supportive coaching environment.

It’s not often that you get to wear an Olympic gold medal! 🥇Some of our swimmers attended a clinic with Mack Horton over the weekend where he shared his journey as well as expert tips and tricks for a faster freestyle.

Well done to seven of our junior swimmers who competed at the Victorian Country SC Championships in Wangaratta, all achieving some amazing swims and PBs throughout the event. A huge congratulations to Jack who won a bronze medal in the 11u 50m freestyle! 🥉🤩

A huge congratulations to Jack H who has been selected in Team Vic to compete in Sydney at the School Sport Australia National Swimming Championships in August. Jack is one of our most dedicated swimmers whose hard work and commitment to training has paid off in him achieving one of his goals to make the State team. We can't wait to cheer you on! 🤩
