SALT POSITIVE SPORTS PARENTING – COMING SOON!

Following the fantastic response to our Positive Sports Parenting workshop in July, we’re excited to extend an additional opportunity to even more families across our Manningham Netball community.

Through the generous support of Community Bank Doncaster East and Templestowe Village, parents and caregivers from all Manningham Netball domestic clubs and our Representative Program will soon have FREE access to the Positive Sports Parenting online program, delivered by SALT - Sport and Life Training.

🌟 So, what’s the course all about?

This self-guided program provides practical strategies and fresh perspectives to help parents:

🏐 Support their child’s sporting journey
💪 Build confidence and resilience
❤️ Promote wellbeing and a positive relationship with sport
🌱 Encourage growth and development both on and off the court
🙌 Rethink what success really means for young athletes

And the best part? You can complete it in your own time, at your own pace.

Your club will soon be sharing further information and a unique access link, allowing Manningham Netball parents to complete the program completely free of charge.

Tomorrow, the team from Eltham Panthers Netball Club will be hosting our annual Father’s Day Round, with all proceeds going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).

Tomorrow is the final round for players to qualify for our Spring Grand Finals. Coaches, please make sure you check your team’s player eligibility and ensure everyone who is hoping to take the court in the Grand Final has met the requirements.

💙 Get Ready for Our Father’s Day Round! 💙

Next Saturday, the amazing team from Eltham Panthers Netball Club will be hosting our special Father’s Day Charity Round, turning the courts BLUE in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).

🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Dads, it’s your time to shine! 🏐

Our much-loved Dads vs Kids games are back! We’re inviting all Dads and Guardians, along with their kids aged 8+, to swap the sidelines for the court and join us for some fun-filled netball action. 🤩

It’s a great chance for our Netball Dads to show the kids what they’ve got… although we’re not making any promises about who will come out on top! 😉

With a packed Saturday schedule, we have just one timeslot available this year, so make sure you get your name down!

🌟 Our New NetSetGO Program Is Underway!

Saturday marked the launch of our brand-new NetSetGO program, and it was fantastic to see so many happy faces out on court for our very first session!

Our newest netballers got an early taste of rainy-day netball 🌧️, with a quick dash for cover when the rain rolled in! Thankfully, the clouds soon cleared and Coach Ellie was able to coax everyone back onto court for plenty of fun, games and skill development.

It was wonderful to see our new participants learning new skills, getting to know each other and, most importantly, having fun with their first taste of netball. 🏐✨

A huge thank you to our 9/U players who joined the session and helped our newest players settle in. It was a great opportunity for them to share their experience, encourage the younger players and pick up a few extra skills themselves!

And the fun continues this Saturday! 🎉

A reminder that all Club NetSetGO participants and 9/U players are welcome to join us each Saturday for more skills, games and plenty of fun on court - at no extra cost!

🏐 19/U State Super Netball Series – Grand Final 🏐

Congratulations to our 19/U team, who put in an outstanding performance in their Grand Final showdown against Ariels VCNA Black last night.

The girls played with 100% intensity from the first whistle, competing hard and fighting through every quarter. After trailing early, they continued to work their way back into the contest, getting within just four goals in the third quarter and keeping the pressure on until the final whistle.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t quite get over the line, but what a season this group has had!

In their debut season in the 19/U State Super Netball Series this talented group of athletes has shown tremendous growth, resilience and determination. Reaching the Grand Final in their first season is a fantastic achievement and one they should be incredibly proud of.

A huge congratulations to our players, coaches and spectators for the commitment and support they’ve shown throughout the season. 👏

While the result wasn’t what we were hoping for last night, this group has laid an exciting foundation for the future. We can’t wait to see what they can achieve in 2027! 💙❤️💚
