Cricket can be cruel… and then it can be magical. 🏏✨

From struggling for runs to hitting a match-winning six with 7 needed from 3 balls. What a turnaround from Liam Kelly!

Well played, Liam. πŸ‘πŸ’š

🏏 CRICKET IS A WONDERFUL GAME 🏏

That's why we love it.

One week you can't hit the ball. You're playing and missing, getting hit on the body, and batting feels like the hardest thing in the world. Nothing comes off, and you start wondering if you'll ever middle one again.

Then there are days when everything just clicks.

That was Liam Kelly's story over the past fortnight.

Just two weeks ago, Liam couldn't buy a run. Fast forward to Sunday, and his team Bat Flew needed 7 runs from 3 balls against the GC Wanderers.

Liam strode to the crease with the game hanging in the balance.

Nobody knew what was about to happen.

Not his teammates.

And definitely not the GC Wanderers.

First ball he faced, the bowler landed it on a perfect line and length outside off stump. Liam calmly shuffled across and produced the shot of the day, clipping the ball high over mid-wicket for a huge SIX in typical left-hander fashion! πŸš€

Suddenly, the equation was down to 1 run from 2 balls.

Cool as you like, Liam then pinched the winning single and sealed a thrilling victory for Bat Flew.

Cricket has a funny way of reminding us why we keep coming back. One day it feels impossible. The next day you're the hero.

πŸ‘ Well done, Liam. A moment you'll remember for a long time.
