By fate and the way of the baseball gods, Cronulla’s Hudson Shorey played on the field his mum started on in Redcliffe at the Junior League Nationals Finals just a month after she passed away.

He had a key hit and RBI in his first at-bat.

Bigger than baseball. Proud of this young man.
