This weekend, we celebrate the life and legacy of Charles Stewart at the annual Chucky event.

Charles was a familiar face within the paddling community and played an important role in bringing ocean racing to our television screens. As a reporter with Channel 9’s Wide World of Sports, Charles brought us the classic coverage of the 1996 Palm to Pines race—a special piece of Australian ocean racing history that we still enjoy today.
