🤩We’re incredibly proud of the effort, dedication, and spirit shown by every student. Months of hard work and perseverance were on display, and it was fantastic to see everyone rise to the challenge.

🙏A special thank you to our instructors for their time, knowledge, and energy, and for helping make today’s grading such a success.

Thank you also to Emma for all the behind-the-scenes administration and organisation that keeps our club running smoothly. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

A huge amount of work has gone into preparing for this grading and the effort from all students has been outstanding. The standard continues to rise every class and it has been great seeing students and instructors working together to help everyone perform at their best.

Family, friends and fellow karate-ka are all welcome to come along and support the students on the day. Your encouragement and support means a lot and helps create a great atmosphere for everyone grading.🥋

⛩️Another class today at Tora Kai Karate-do as we enter peak week before next week’s Advanced Grading for our Brown and Black Belts!

💪 We kicked things off with a strong Kihon class, working through all benchmarking and feedback provided by the Tora Kai instructors. Lots of focus on the finer details, sharpness, timing, power and making those final adjustments leading into grading week.

⭐️ Our Advanced Class started with Kata before moving into a very productive workshop session, with all instructors working closely with students on the individual areas they need to sharpen up before next week’s Advanced / Black Belt Grading.

💫 Great atmosphere in the dojo and awesome to see everyone helping and pushing one another to improve. The standard is lifting every class. Proud of the effort and mindset being shown by all students and instructors alike.

🔥 Great energy in the dojo lately as everyone continues preparing for the Advanced Grading in the coming weeks.

🤩It’s been excellent seeing students really take ownership of their training — working hard on the areas that need improvement, refining techniques, improving conditioning, and pushing themselves outside their comfort zones.

One of the best things to see has been the support within the dojo. Senior students helping juniors, training partners encouraging each other, and everyone working together to raise the standard. That spirit and attitude are just as important as the technical side of karate.

Keep the momentum going. Small improvements every session add up!
