There's so many creative pieces the children make for us each week and we love to show them off to everyone.

Week 7- the gym.
The gym is everyone's favourite part of Gymbaroo classes.
They are moving around freely, exploring the area and activities to their own strength and choice. Each week we see the children challenge themselves further on the activities, mastering them before we change the activities in the gym change.

Week 7 - the children explored so much this week.
All ages were excitedly engaged in their activities.
The weekly theme we focussed on was a bear. We had so many amazing treasure bag items brought in. Our craft wall is also looking so good!
The tube activity helped to encourage hand strength and development in holding multiple objects as well as fine motor skills.
The paddle pop matching activity guided the children to understand instructions verbally and copy them using the information they are processing (eg. Place the pink bear on the left side of the yellow stick).
The Cooking experiences always are so much fun! The Flying Fox children get creative to explore different textures and food items which can be made into so many things. They used mashed potato and cheese to create bear faces.
The autumn brush activity encouraged the children to use natural objects (leaves and sticks) to create a brush, filling in spaces of the tape to fill the brush up.

Week 7 - we're going on a bear hunt.
The children explored the mat room Bear Hunt activists week, where they worked through a number of obstacles to find the bear.
They walked through the long wavy grass, climbed over the bridge into the squishy mud, the through the dark, gloomy cave and we found the BEAR! He was a very friendly bear, and we have him lots of cuddles.
This activity builds early literacy, enhancing gross motor skills, and encouraging imaginative play. The repetitive rhymes and obstacle-course movements provide engaging, multi-sensory development for young learners.

Reminder:
We are CLOSED - Monday 8th June, for the public holiday.
We will resume classes on Tuesday 9th as normal.
Monday families have NOT been charged for this date (8/6/26) on your enrolment, however it still may show as an upcoming class on your parent portal. Please ignore this, your Monday class will resume on Monday 15th June.

We are approaching the end of our term 2 program, and we want you to get all your classes in before we do end.
If you have missed a class, or need to cancel any - watch this tutorial to learn how. Then, you can book a MAKE-UP class in (no extra charge - this is a credit).
Please note, this is subject to availability throughout our weekly schedule.
If you cannot find any class suitable or with space for your little one, please call or message us and we can also have a look for you.
