🚨IMPORTANT POST🚨

Alright guys it is with heavy heart that I have to do this, but sadly this morning we received contact from Campbelltown council that we cannot do our run club event.

I’m not posting this to create drama or negative behaviour I’m simply explaining what has happened. It’s absolutely heartbreaking but for the time being we have to cancel.

I constantly remind everyone that we are not a business, we make zero money and whenever we do anything which involves raising funds it is directly donated to charity.

The saddest part about this one is the whole event was by Macarthur.. for Macarthur and we had intention of doing a raffle and donating it towards a local charity focused on youth and homelessness.

All we ask guys if you can like and share this video and maybe it will get in the hands of someone who can help, I’m going to go back to the drawing board with the team and start exploring options for a new date.

We weren’t expecting a large turnout obviously with the run Wollongong event on today + it being a long weekend but always great to see people showing up and battling the early morning cold weather!

Side note - yesterday I randomly noticed a new cafe around the corner from Raby sports complex…

So today the gang went to support a new local small business, the coffee was amazing!
Safe to say this will be the new meeting spot for hangs after Sunday run!

Thanks to everyone who showed up, dressed up and participated you guys are amazing!

Extra special thank you to the team at LSKD for supplying us with props, snacks, drinks and some prizes to give away for best dressed and the team at @ for gracing us with a sample stand tonight!

🧁 ANNOUNCEMENT TIME 🧁

It’s been almost 2 years since I started LAPS RC

Last year my bake sale idea with only 5 vendors turned out to be one of our biggest events of the year, so what have I gone and done this year ..

Almost 15 vendors, this bake sale is now a mini bake festival! 🍰 🍪 🕺 🪩

100% supporting only local businesses with the addition of fitness challenges and the team at joining the party!!!

Walk, jog, run … just come and eat if you want!

Keeping it local, we will have a raffle with all prizes drawn on the day … we have chosen a local charity which we will be announcing later in the month!

This event is by the area … for the area ❤️
