Thirteen years as a trainer… but this past year has been the one that changed everything.

A year ago I backed myself and took Nancys Gym full‑time. No safety net. No guarantees. Just belief in what I’d built and the people who believed in me right back.

And that’s the part that hits the hardest — the community.

Nancys Gym started as a small private studio. A few people who trusted me with their goals. A few early mornings. A few late nights. But over time it became something bigger than training sessions.

It became a culture.
A standard.
A family.

This past year I’ve watched people walk through those doors and leave different — stronger, more confident, more proud of themselves. I’ve seen friendships form, limits get broken, and a community that shows up for each other just as much as they show up for themselves.

Going full‑time wasn’t just about me backing myself.
It was about backing us — the people who make Nancys Gym what it is.

One year down.
A whole lot more to build together.

Training while you’re sick isn’t “discipline” — it’s a setback waiting to happen.

When you’re run‑down, your body isn’t adapting, progressing, or getting stronger. It’s fighting. And the best thing you can do is let it win.

Here’s why showing up sick is a hard NO:

- Your recovery — Training with a compromised immune system drags out your illness and delays your progress.

- My health as your coach — If I get sick, everyone’s sessions get disrupted.

- Other clients’ safety — We share equipment, space, and air. One sick session can affect multiple people.

If you’re unwell, the strongest thing you can do is rest, hydrate, and recover properly.

Your training will be here when you’re ready — and you’ll come back sharper, stronger, and actually able to perform.

Stay home. Get better. Then let’s get back to work.

The studio just had a massive upgrade — a few new pieces of Verve gear to push every session further than before.
It’s been a chaotic few days getting everything built, but now that it’s all in place… the space feels unreal.

You carry so much, give so much, love so deeply — and still find the courage and time to invest in your own health.
