Who remembers these winning faces? Here is a trip down memory lane from our time in the Corowa and District Tennis Association! 🏆

Now that we call the Hume Country Tennis Association home, we want to help them celebrate a massive milestone: 100 years of local tennis history.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who dedicated their Sunday morning to improving our club facilities. We achieved fantastic results, including the marking of the pickleball courts. Keep an eye out for announcements regarding the re-launch of pickleball action soon!

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Federation Council for providing a fantastic lunch for our workers as part of Volunteer Week.

As a point of interest, the average age of our volunteer crew on Sunday was 63. Let’s see if we can get that average age down at the next working bee by getting our younger, enthusiastic players involved in keeping our club thriving!

Congratulations to the Sneaky Foxes, the official winners of the Thursday Night Competition! Following a great season, they secured the premiership title with a final score of 5 sets (34 games) to the Wild Stallions' 1 set (16 games).

We commend the Wild Stallions on a hard-fought match and an excellent finals series.

Sneaky Foxes (Winners): Hayden Fischer, Adrianne Howlett, Charlie Constable, & Ken Johnston.

Wild Stallions (Runners-Up): Seth Henson, Brad Ewing, Rachelle Henson, & Nate Fulton.

Congratulations to the Ninja Turtles on their Grand Final victory! In a high-standard match against the Honey Badgers, the Turtles secured the win with a final score of 5 sets (30 games) to 1 set (20 games).

Grand Final Champions: Josh Reid, Rory McMahon, Michelle Matthews, and Ruby Reid.
Runners-Up: Sam Robertson, Teeah Bungey, Michelle Penn, and Lucy Wilkie.

The level of play was outstanding, and we loved seeing so many great rallies throughout the night.

The stage is set for the Thursday Night Grand Final! After a series of incredibly close matches, the Sneaky Foxes and the Wild Stallions have officially secured their spots in the big dance.

A massive congratulations to the Happy Campers and the Golden Geese, who both fought hard right until the end. The semi-final scores were as close as they get:

Sneaky Foxes (3-28) narrowly defeated Golden Geese (3-26)
Wild Stallions (4-29) defeated Happy Campers (2-22)

The Grand Final Lineup:

Congratulations to our finalists! After some hard-fought matches, the Honey Badgers and the Ninja Turtles have officially secured their spots in the Monday Night Grand Finals.

A huge effort goes out to the Four Amigos and the Disco Turkeys, who both put up a fantastic fight throughout the series.

Ninja turtles 5-32 defeated Four Amigos 1-17
Honey Badgers 5-32 defeated Disco Turkeys 1-16
