Vale Don (Moe) Flegg.
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Moe Flegg. Moe was a member of the 1954 Premiership team whom went through the season undefeated, albeit with only 1 point victories against Walbundrie in both the semi and grand finals.
From that year on, Moe has been a life long supporter of the Spiders. Most people will remember Moe sitting in his chair at home games, with his little notebook, marking down the scores. The back page of our critic has been named “Moe’s Scorecard” for many years now as a tribute to Moe.
Our thoughts are with the Flegg family and the Spider family will all miss you Moe.
