A BIG shout-out to our Footy Operations guru Jamie Stanfield. On Saturday morning, Jamie participated in the 24 hour treadmill challenge - raising funds for the Very Special Kids charity. There at 4am as a support person, then on the treadmill at 5am where he clocked up over 7km's. Later in the day he was around the grounds doing his bit for the Rovers, including his Team Manager duties of both the Seniors and Reserves (20k steps for the day!). Jamie's goal was to raise $1,000. He's currently at $4,311. You can read more and donate here: https://my.vsktreadmill.org.au/2026-vsk-24hr-treadmill-challenge/jamie-stanfield

Amazing effort Jamie! We all appreciate the time you spend volunteering for the mighty Rovers, and we're sure the "Wiz" Warwick Capper would love the getup. 💚💛

Very Special Kids is the only children’s hospice in Victoria and provides holistic palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and tailored support for their families.
