A top-order wicket-keeper/bat, Harry currently plies his trade for Sandford in the Devon Premier League having recently transferred from Heathcoat. Harry brings strong UK pathway experience — progressing through Devon County Cricket Club’s program and is looking to continue that path this season.

It will be Harry’s second trip down south for cricket having represented Weedons in Canterbury, New Zealand in season 25/26.

A high-quality addition to our Club, Harry is also very keen to contribute to the junior program in a coaching capacity. 💙💛

A top/middle-order batter and off-spinner, Alfie brings strong UK experience — progressing through Cornwall County and captaining Camborne CC’s 1st XI in the Devon Premier League.

A consistent run-scorer who can both anchor and accelerate, he also adds genuine wicket-taking ability with the ball.

An ECB Level 2 coach, Alfie will play a key role across both our senior side and junior program. 💙💛

Huge Thank-you to our Englishmen Niall Dunn and Tait Roberts-Hodgson for their contributions to the our Club in season 2025/26. Both lads completely embraced everything the Club has to offer and brought great energy on the field, off the field and in their junior coaching roles. We wish them both all the best for the next step in their cricket and life journeys. 💛💙

After an extensive process that included a restructure of the Senior Coaching roles at the Club, we are excited to announce the appointment of Tim Woodruff as Senior Coach.

Having spent a lifetime in cricket in the Bayside area, Tim’s coaching background and philosophy, make him a great fit for this role. Over the past two seasons, Tim has been at Bentleigh, where he was Junior Development & Transition Liaison and U15 ISEC Coach, supporting young players as they progress through the system. Passionate about his own cricket, Tim was also a crucial member of Bentleigh’s 2nd XI Div 3 CSB premiership this year and is keen to continue playing with Hampton.

His recent coaching experience includes being Head Coach at Mordialloc in 2021/22 as well as a multitude of roles focused on the development and progression of high-end junior talent including an Assistant Coach role at Dandenong.

Tim’s coaching philosophy is strongly aligned with our values. He brings a clear focus on development, accountability and connection, and will challenge the playing group to grow both individually and collectively while continuing to build a strong, inclusive one club culture.

The Committee is excited about the leadership and direction Tim will bring to the Club and looks forward to working closely with him as we prepare for the 2026/27 season.

Please join us in welcoming Tim as well as his son Hunter and wife Karn to Hampton.

After two amazing seasons at Hampton, we say thank you and bid farewell to Teg Phillips.

His time at the Club is decorated with silverware and his achievements speak for themselves.

1 x W.H.H. Costello Shield (Club Champion)
1 x R.L. Paterson Trophy (Runner up Club Champion)
1 x J.T. Killara Medal
2 x Max Grimmer Trophy (Best 1st XI Player)
2 x Mike McLean Team of the Year
1 x 1st XI Batting Average

But the legacy he leaves at Hampton is far greater. His role coaching the U16B team in 2024/25 and U16A this year as well as the girls U14B side mean that his leadership, energy and cricket knowledge have benefitted many more than just those around him on a Saturday afternoon.

Thanks Teg, you’ll forever be welcome at the Boss mate. 💙💛

Our Sunday U12B team took their grand final against Brighton Union down to the last few overs last Sunday, falling just 33 runs short. The team played their best cricket when it mattered as no other team got close to beating Brighton Union this year. The whole team contributed, with special mentions to Rafael Papageorgiou for his captaincy, Rose Power for a strong 22 to open the innings and Henry Stott for smashing an unbeaten 30 to give us a chance. Well done to the whole team on a great season. 💛💙

Amazing effort by our U17B ISEC side who took out the premiership with a backs to the wall win at Boss James Reserve on Sunday morning.

Defending just 96, Hampton began Day 2 with only 63 runs to play with, Maccabi 1/33 overnight. Tight bowling from all Hampton bowlers in tricky conditions ensured a close tussle throughout. Maccabi were eventually dismissed for 84 as Lachlan Curtis collected the final wicket to cap an excellent performance with the ball. He finished with 4/13 and he and his team mates finished with premiership medals. Caelan Menahem (2/20) and Emmett Baker (2/6) ensured the pressure was kept up all day.

Special thanks to Coach Charlie Clarkson for all his hardwork throughout the season with the boys. 💙💛🏆
