Racing Rugby Club of Melbourne As a junior club our aim has been to establish strong links with the local public and private primary and secondary school communities.

Welcome to Racing Rugby Club of Melbourne - South Eastern Melbourne’s home of Junior Rugby Union, proudly supporting young players across Kingston, Bayside and Glen Eira. Inspired by the colours of famous French Racing 92 club, the Racing Rugby Club of Melbourne has somewhat similar beginnings to its namesake which originally started as an amateur athletics (racing) club in metropolitan Paris in 1

882. Our story involves a group of passionate athletics and rugby parents wanting to develop the game of rugby in their local Bayside, Glen Eira, and Kingston municipalities. By introducing the game into schools as part of their sports or after school care programs and then by sponsoring and hosting both boys and girls Touch 7’s or 7’s Rugby gala days or knockout tournaments to assist with developing the game in Victoria. In providing more convenient access to the game locally, and experienced junior coaches and techniques. Our programs have been designed specifically to introduce the game to inexperienced players and participants from a non-traditional rugby background. So that they can enjoy the game and play it in a safe environment. Racing are the one and only truly local club and have been serving the community since 2016.
