Beaumaris Yacht Club Welcome to Beaumaris Yacht Club! Established in 1950, BYC is run by sailors, for sailors. Racing is held every Sunday from October to April.

Beaumaris Yacht Club (BYC) was established on the Ricketts Point foreshore in 1950. The current BYC clubhouse was built in 1954 by the founding members and has been extensively renovated and modified over the years. The Club’s facilities include a canteen, boat storage, large hall (available for hire), toilets and change room facilities and race control tower. BYC is a leading club for off-the-bea

ch sailing on Port Phillip Bay. During the sailing season the Club runs comprehensive junior and senior Learn To Sail programs and many Club members participate in district, state, and national events in various classes. Sailors and prospective sailors of all ages and experience levels are welcome!

Thanks to all our sailors, volunteers and friends for a great 76th season of sailing at BYC.
