Jason and I have been Rally Spectators and Officials for years, but all that changed when I won the Rally NSW Ultimate Rally Navigator Competition. The whole rally community has been so welcoming and supportive to us as newcomers and I have been having a ball in some very awesome Rally Cars with some amazing Drivers. The Rally bug has well and truly bitten and Jay and I are now on our way to build

ing our very own Rally Car. This page is all about sharing our adventure with family and friends and to hopefully inspire anyone else thinking about joining the Rally Family to jump in and give it a go.

1. A three‑man mechanical triage unit—featuring Jason Dahler, Karl Schmidt, and Paul Jansen—tasked with poking, prodding, tightening, swearing at, and ultimately reviving George during rally service windows.

2. Experts in rapid‑fire repairs, known for diagnosing problems in under 12 seconds and fixing them in under 12 minutes, usually while George is still steaming, leaking, or having an existential crisis.

3. Informal: The blokes who keep George alive through sheer skill, caffeine, and questionable optimism; also the reason he makes it back into the forest instead of retiring in a dramatic plume of smoke.

Two stages of “do I even know how to Rally?”

Then one perfect corner and I’m instantly in love with the sport again.

You can just hear me on the camera yelling something like “THAT’S HOW YOU TAKE A CORNER — WHOOOOHOOOO” because of course the intercom didn’t connect.

But trust me… the excitement was real.

Bear Electrical - Gold Coast Jimna Rallysprint results are up and despite some pretty average stage times, we kept it tidy, finished every run, and somehow landed 3rd in the Acworth Recruitment Clubman Series. We’ll take that 🥉

Massive shoutout to our service crew Jason, Karl, Paul — absolute legends as always.
Thank you to the officials and Brisbane Sporting Car Club for running another top‑notch event.

And hats off to Matt Sosimenko on his first QRC Clerk of Course role. Nailed it 🙌

1. The act of sprinting to a rally stage start on perfect time, only to be told to stop, park, and chill.

2. A period in which humans stand around discussing the previous stage antics while I, George, sit here wondering why no one is letting me do race‑car things.
