We’re as ready as we can be for 2 big nights of racing at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway for the National Modified Sedan Title. 🏁

Practice was held last night and Tim got to have a few runs in the car. He had the 15th quickest time overall. Times mean nothing though, so let’s see what the next two nights bring! 🤞🏻

There will be 3 heats tonight and 1 heat tomorrow night.

Tim has 2 heat races and a feature tonight.

KINGS ROYAL RECAP 👑👑

(A little late, its been a big week 😉)

What a huge weekend. 3 nights of action packed racing at Kingaroy Speedway.

Tim’s results from the weekend 👇🏻
Heat 1 / P5 to P1
Heat 2 / P5 to P3
Heat 3 / P8 to P7
Heat 4 / P2 - DNF
Heat 5 / P8 - DNF

This resulted in Tim qualifying 31st.

In the final night, Tim was in the F Dash and finished P2, he then transferred to the D Dash and finished 5th and then transferred to 10th in the B Main. Tim then needed to finish 6th or better to qualify for the A Main. He finished 5th. 👍🏻

A Main - Tim started 23rd from 24 cars.

What a race….. after a lengthy rain delay earlier in the night and some track prep, the track ended up being the quickest it had been all weekend, so it was always going to be a battle starting from the rear.
There were 2 big crashes in the race around laps 21 & 24, which resulted in most of the cars retiring to the infield with damage, leaving only 7 cars left to compete for the remaining 26 laps. Thankfully Tim was able to continue. It sure was an interesting race and ultimately proved to be a race of survival.

Tim finished the race in 4th! 🏁🚗

Congratulations to all the other place getters and to Darcy Wilson for winning. That’s now 3 x Victorians in a row to take the Kings Royal Crown, C’mon QLD, we need to take the crown back next year!!

Tim has qualified for the 50 lap A Main Kings Royal Feature Race and will start on the back row in P23…..

After some bad luck with tyres last night, Tim and the team has worked hard tonight to get him into the main race!!
