Because sometimes it gets to 3pm, you're starving, school pick-up is just around the corner, and you realize you have nothing to eat again!
These are a couple of things I'd happily grab.
But the useful bit isn't really the exact products.
When I'm choosing something on the run, I'm generally thinking:
Can I get some protein in?
Will it give me some energy?
Will it actually satisfy me until my next meal?
And do I actually like it?
I'm not searching for the lowest calorie option or the packet that looks the most “healthy”
I'm just trying to give my body something useful and get on with my day.
Because eating well as a busy mum isn't always going to look like perfectly prepped food from home.
Sometimes it's standing in the supermarket thinking “sh*t, I'm hungry” and knowing how to make a pretty good choice 😂
Save this for the next time that's you.
And tell me, should I do more quick supermarket snacks, or or emergency dinners next?
